"Breast Cancer Treatment"

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2017 via the Jarvis Centre in Guildford.

I was contacted by the Breast Care unit in St Peters and saw them almost immediately.

I was very impressed with the care and compassion I received by all the professionals I saw.

Any questions I had were answered sympathetically and immediately.

If I wanted some clarification, this was immediately given.

All aspects of my treatment were explained to me.

Similarly my radiotherapy (undertaken at Royal Surrey St Lukes) was given with explanations whenever I needed them.

The NHS takes a battering but I can only say how impressed I have been and how valued I have felt as a person and a patient.

Thank you to all the staff who so ably assisted in my recovery.
