About: Oakwood Surgery

Like all surgeries and hospitals throughout the land,all computers were down and appointments cancelled except emergencies.However my wife went to the surgery with a very painful knee, pseudo gout.The doctor saw her and gave her an injection.

Obviously the surgery was very busy and chaotic but all the staff doctors,nurses, receptionists etc were superb in the way they handled the crisis,they really all should be congratulated on their deeds.

Thank you for your very positive feedback, in what was a very worrying and trying time for all concerned. Patients were very understanding of our situation, for which we were very grateful indeed. Everyone pulled together! Not just within the surgery but all the local surgeries were going the extra mile, helping each other and the NHS IT team worked flat out to get us back up and running. The hard work, team ethic and spirit, were commendable.

So in a very difficult and unforeseen situation, thank you for your welcome comments.
