"Confusing appointment system"

About: Halton Hospital / Cardiology

Attended Cardio at Warrington for several tests, which were efficiently carried out by friendly staff.

However, I had received a follow up appointment for Halton, which the Doctor who carried out my last test told me to cancel, as Warrington would contact me.

On phoning to cancel, the Appointment Dept. insisted that I should keep it.

On attending Halton, I found that it was a wasted visit, as my test results were not yet available to the Doctor.

There appears to be a lack of communication between the two Hospitals.
