"Recent stay by my husband in cardiology"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital / Cardiology

My husband was admitted to Cardiology through A and

E a month ago with a suspected Heart attack.

I cannot praise the ambulance crew and the staff in A and E highly enough.

They were thorough and totally professional whilst at the same time offering kindly care accompanied by explanations and reassurance at all stages.

They all too often are the victims of criticism whilst trying to do their job under pressure and this is followed up and endorsed too often by the media.....shame on them !.

From the cleaning lady in the corridor who stopped to help me when I was distressed through the nursing and support staff, to the consultant----I send my praise and grateful thanks.

The team on Kilverstone ward are amazing---nothing was too much trouble for them...exemplary care and concern.

Since my husband came home we have been supported well by the Cardiac Rehab team too.

Although under pressure these professional have time and patience to teach and supervise students from the nearby University, ensuring that these youngsters, the next generation of Health Care Professionals, are ready to carry on following an excellent example.
