"MANIC FRIDAY BUT MINOR INJURIES STAFF WERE..."

About: Gosport War Memorial Hospital

My wife broke her wrist and we attended the Minor Injuries Department. Friday 2nd. March. The clinic was heaving with no seats in the waiting room so we knew we were in for a long day. The receptionist explained the situation which was obviously brought on by the snow and ice however they were trying to get staff in on their day off.

My wife was seen periodically with questions, xrays etc. which was helpful as we knew she had not been forgotten. My wife had a Colles fracture and was seen by a young man who attempted to put her at ease but she was obviously in pain. The teatment was excellent, ALL the staff were helpful courteous and very efficient. This was a great team effort on part of ALL the staff. Well Done !

Thank you for taking the time to post your valuable feedback about the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at Gosport War Memorial Hospital.

We are so pleased to hear about the excellent care that your wife received and would assure you that this has been shared with the staff in MIU.

We hope that your wife is recovering from her injury.

Kind regards
