"Excellent treatment"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Cardiology

After going to A&E on New Years Eve I was diagnosed with heart attack.

I spent 5 days on Johnson Ward and had one stent inserted.

I took poorly afterwards & was moved into CCU, finishing my stay in CSS.

.My husband and I are very grateful for all the care and attention I received, the staff in all departments are brilliant.

I had to attend Cath Lab as an outpatient 6 weeks later, the week that the 'Beast from the East' storm hit the city.

A stressful journey in was made worthwhile when we were greeted with happy, smiley nurses, all joking about their different experiences journeying into work.

Not one of them moaned about it, it was just a normal working day for them regardless of the weather and the level of treatment that I received was never compromised.

The commitment to their work is exceptional, they made both myself and my husband feel that nothing was too much trouble, and surprisingly a fun day was had by all !!!! All the staff are a credit to the NHS and I cannot thank them enough for the excellent care that I received.
