"Best hospital I have been to"

About: Derriford Hospital

My son was admitted to Derriford Hospital with internal organ failure due to a drug overdose. From the moment he was admitted up to his discharge two weeks later - to a rehab uni - ,his improvement was literally spectacular.

Indeed he told ward staff that he would return to the ward after his rehab to thank everyone who had treated him and who had spent time talking to him which was every bit as valuable as the medicines prescribed.

i cannot praise Derriford Hospital highly enough on every count.

The Matron for MAU & Respiratory Medicine has responded to say:

Thank you so very much for the lovely comments and positive feedback. I will pass your comments on to the ward manager to share with the team. I am very proud to be the matron for such a lovely ward and to receive your compliment only reinforces this,
