"Can't get my daughter's hearing aid batteries..."

Very annoying....I popped into the Hospital for some new hearing aid batteries for my 9 year olds hearing aids, only to be told they can't give me any as I may live in the borough of Brentwwod but I don't receive my care from Southend Hospital which is the only hospital they can supply for.

I explained that my daughter was under the care of Addenbrookes Hospital so it's 50 miles to travel for batteries but was told that she doesn't make the rules do there's nothing she can do! I always used to get my batteries from the Community hospital when Addenbrookes hadn't given me enough...what's changed? Very angry by the total lack of concern from the staff.
