"Referral Failure/Tampering"

About: Winterbourne Hospital

I was referred to the winterbourne via NHS. Two initial assessments were cancelled seemingly legitimately due to the consultant being ill. Upon investigation a hand written note had been placed within my notes stating I no longer required or desired further treatment. No further explanation was offered and my referral has now been terminated on the strength of this 'note' setting my treatment back at least 4-6 weeks.

A+E attempted to re-instate the appointment the following day citing the obvious need for medical treatment, this was also met with standard bureaucracy supporting their seriously dubious decisions made up to this point.
