My father in law recently passed away on B47 at QMC in Nottingham. The care which he and all the family received from the nurses and support staff was absolutely fantastic and made his passing so much easier for us all. Even though the hospital was at the height of winter pressures, dad was given a side room which was very much appreciated as all his family were able to be with him during his last few days. The nurses, support workers, catering staff and domestic staff all showed us care, compassion and understanding. I am a nurse and work in the NHS so know how trying it can be. To be on the receiving end of care by dedicated staff who were able to keep their focus on providing the best experience for patients was humbling. Thank you all.
"Outstanding end of life care at QMC Nottingham"
