About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a service user),

I had minor day surgery on this ward and the care I received from Staff Nurse Jackie, Dr Udani, the anethetist and all other staff I encountered was exemplary. Regular checks of my bp, temperature and heart rate were taken and food and fluids encouraged throughout my stay. 

I was desperate to leave (don't like hospitals!) And even then they made sure they followed hospital policy.

Dear Gemstar83

Thank You for post about recent experience in Day Surgery, its good to see that you had regular checks and were encouraged to eat and drink during your stay, it is very important to the staff that they follow procedures and policies for patient safety so they wont be offended that you were desperate to leave, it happens a lot.

I will share your comments with all of the staff and the ones you have mentioned, they will appreciate your feedback.
