"Broken Shoulder diagnosis Saturday 17th..."

i fell in Blackpool and injured my shoulder. I went to A&E at 12.30pm and was referred to their separate injury department straight away. I was booked in by a very friendly guy on reception and told I would be seen at 1.30pm. At 1.30pm on the button I was taken to see the doctor who after a few short tests sent me to X-ray. I was taken there by the nurse and X-rays done in 5 minutes.

I went back to the doctor who, upon looking at my X-rays confirmed I have in fact broken my shoulder. As I am from the West Midlands I elected to come home and my treatment will start at my local hospital. They fitted me with a cuff & collar, pain relief medication and a letter to take to my local hospital.

I just want to point out how impressed I am with the treatment I received in Blackpool Victoria hospital.... The staff in that department on Saturday are a credit to themselves and a credit to the NHS. Thank you all very much for looking after me.
