I and my family have been with this Practice for many years and they did provide an excellent service, however since the previous Trust and now the new Trust have been involved I have seen steady decline in service.
Lately when you try to get an appointment, after hanging on the phone from 8am every morning there are no doctors in the Surgery. When you do eventually get an appointment it is with a Locum and not the Practice Doctor and if they want to see you again and tell you to book another appointment the whole farse starts again which is extremely frustrating.
There has not been a Nurse at the Practice for some time and we are told that there may be one next month and to try again.
It would be better if, when you need to make a non urgent appointment, that you were able to do this during practice hours in advance and not hang on the phone from 8am on the day. For more urgent appointments it would be better on a 1st come 1st served basis but once the day is full with appointments, why not give an appointment for the next day? - just like the system in the good old days when the Practice was excellent.
