I have been struggling with anxiety for the past 10 years and I felt that there was nothing I could do to stop it. I had had a few counselling sessions when I was younger, and believed it was CBT therapy, and I didn't like it, so whenever CBT was mentioned I'd declined it.
However, I found out that CBT was about dealing with anxiety, not just talking about it so I decided to go to inclusion matters. it was the best decision I could have made. I now have a way to tackle my worries and I don't feel as helpless anymore. I know my anxiety isn't going to go straight away, but I have noticed I am starting to worry a little less. I feel a bit more in control of my life.
Terry has been a great help and always makes me feel at ease. I used to worry about coming to the sessions, but now I'm sad they are coming to an end. The only thing I would change is either having more sessions or a session a month or so later to see how people are getting on and to see if they need further CBT therapy.
I just want to thank Terry and all at Inclusion matters for helping me take the next step in dealing with my anxiety.
