Im absolutely appaulled that I wasnt taken seriously although my child's blood sugars were still low. My child was discharged with low blood sugars and vomitting and told theres nothing they would do to help. Also my child didnt eat for the 24 hours we were in there.. because ngh dont cater for the specific dietary requirements. I felt like they expected me to starve my child as they wouldnt allow us off the ward to go get some food. Absolutley disgusted.
PAU on the other hand were amazing with my child and took me very seriously they were very helpful unfortunatley other departments didnt had we of been able to stay on pau I feel we wouldve got much better care.
