I would like to thank everyone who helped in my care .I come from up country and am aware of the criticism of the hospital so when I had some symptoms I approached firstly my new GP at Carnon Downs and then the hospital with some trepidation .I have been amazed I went to the gp in the later part of October she was absolutely wonderful took time and care to find out my situation to me to hospital and then subsequently took time to explain and put my mind at rest .
I then attended for the removal of a lump ,I then went not have a complete hysterectomy .My consultant and her team who
I would love to name but understand that I can't on these pages were brilliant .Taking time to explain ,I would say A plus for bedside manner.
But you can see the funding gaps ...see them quite clearly .The ward I was in was freezing the windows looked like they were about to fall out and during the night the curtains and blinds were being blowed about by the draft.
I am not sure that they have enough staff to call on at night th award was so large that it was difficult to get any sleep.
Our NHS is precious its not until you need it that you realise how important it is.Its one of the few places that it does not matter how much money you have or you don't have you are treated on need .Lets not lose it
