I came to BPAS after using the Marie Stopes clinics for a past termination and the difference was incredible. From the moment I walked in the staff were very friendly and polite - not the typical clinical terseness you sometimes find which makes you feel on edge. They all had smiles on their faces and engaged in conversation with me. The wait was very short (10am Saturday app) and they were very extensive with the information they needed you to know about. This I found very professional.

I was made to feel very comfortable and dignified throughout the entire procedure, they were very respectful of my privacy but allowed my partner to accompany me for support. They gave a lot of information about the likelihood of waiting times prior to my visit too and the approach I might take to relieve pain etc beforehand.

The most important part I can stress of my whole experience is that the staff and nurses are all very informative, they do not leave a corner unturned on the ins and outs of procedure and aftercare.

After my appointment I had concerns that the treatment had not worked (this was due to overall anxiety rather than anything else) but thought it would be best to wait a few days before contacting them. They in fact contacted me the next working day to check up on me which I think is exactly what you need to feel thought about and looked after. I went through my concerns and the nurse guided me through reassuringly on what was to look out for, and what wouldn't be a concern. I know I can call back at any point if I need there assistance further.

For someone going through with a termination of pregnancy for the first time I would especially recommend BPAS, and for anyone else for that matter.
