"Appalling and callous service"

About: Peterborough City Hospital / Maternity

My wife is in the middle of a miscarriage passing lots of blood and in terrible pain.

Despite this we got our 2 year daughter ready and with my wife in great pain went to the hospital.

We were told to go for a scan at 9:00.

We have been up since 5am trying to cope with the passage of blood.

We arrived at 9:22 to be told for being late and the sonography has gone. My wife had been in the toilet. We live 25 miles away. Being ticked off when you’re undergoing a miscarriage is the most insensitive and callous attitude I can imagine.
