"Waiting times?"

About: Churchill Hospital / Diabetic medicine

I have been a patient at OCDEM for about 25 years, and have seen a steady decline in service which now seems to have reached an all-time low. Today seeking a simple piece of information about blood tests (which for some reason is not available on the internet), I have been trying to get through on the phone to OCDEM. I have wasted over half an hour - first of all, the outpatient department, where after several rings the line goes dead, and then the diabetes centre where I was assured that I was number 1 in a queue and had to endure piped musak. It's extraordinary that there is no one to answer the phone lines at 9am in the morning, and frankly unacceptable for patients.
