About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Cardiology

If it hadn't been for the NHS in general I'd almost certainly be dead by now. I've been seeing a cardiologist at BRI on and off for 10 years due to persistent AF and hypertension.

I've found the staff polite and informative at all levels.

On a few occasions I've had to wait in the waiting room for longer than I would like, but we're only talking about an hours delay maximum. I take comfort in the fact that patients are seen in order of need not arrival.

I've had a few medical procedures (all at BRI) - again, no complaints whatsoever...

well just one... the sandwiches are awful! (and they make you eat something if you have a general aesthetic, before discharging you). It's a small price to pay!

It is lovely to receive such positive feedback regarding the care and treatment you received during this time and we are delighted to pass this on to the staff who will very much appreciate your comments as they always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care.
