(as the patient),

I had a colonoscopy at solihull hospital.   I would just like to say how well I was treated. The staff, nurses and the doctor were very professional explained all what was going to happen and the procedure was carried out very well. Although I wasn't looking forward to it, I knew it had to be done, but I was made to feel very comfortable, and put at ease. I know the NHS have had some bad press, but I can only say I was dealt with very well. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments, following your Colonoscopy at Solihull Hospital.

I can appreciate that you were not looking forward to the procedure; however I am pleased that the staff were able to make you feel comfortable and that you were happy with your treatment.

It is unfortunate that the NHS receives bad press, so it is nice for our staff to receive such positive comments, as they really do work extremely hard.

I will forward your posting to the senior management team for the Unit and ask that it is shared with the staff, whom I am sure they will be absolutely delighted to read your positive comments.

I do hope you have recovered well following your procedure.
