"This hanging about is awful"

I was found with a 9cm cyst in August and the usual referral for a gynae appointment was quick and also the MRI. I was put on waiting list for surgery in October so my latest date would be December. Now end of January and me making many many calls to find out what is happening...in pain and trips to GP and out of hours I am now told by theatre scheduler it is looking into March. I feel really let down by NHS. I get that emergencies happen etc but I am suffering and basically been told to wait. I feel that communication has been very poor for someone who is over their date. A call would be nice to keep us up to date instead of making a weekly call to ask what is happening. Like everyone, I have a job and a family and really this hanging about is awful for all.
