"COPD Patient"

About: Basildon University Hospital / Accident and emergency

According to the website all COPD sufferers on arrival are reviewed by a specialist respiratory nurse and consultant. I was admitted on 12th January and put into AMU East and then transferred to Orsett ward two days later where I stayed until discharge on 22nd January. I suffer badly with COPD but was never seen by anyone from the respiratory team despite being told that I was due to be the next one to be transferred to Marjorie Wallace ward so your statement that all COPD sufferers are dealt with by the respiratory team is completely false.
