"Told I am in the very early stages of Dementia in the Alzheimer's Disease"

About: Cognition and mental health in aging

(as the patient),

I went through a period when I misplaced things, eg: Car Keys, Paperwork, etc. I went to my GP explaining the above who referred me to have a Brain Scan.

I was later Referred to the Cheam Resource Centre, and introduced to Brian  (Dementia Nurse Specliast] and Elisabeth  who is the Dementia Nurse Specialist.

They both emphasised I am in this very early stages of this diagnosis and in their opinions, will see me at there Memory Service for monitoring and support.  I wish to add that I was very  upset when told I had Dementia, but feel better because of the care and support I am receiving from the Cheam Resource Centre.
