"The Magical MSK Team!"

My 5 year old son had been complaining about pains in legs and ‘tired’ legs. As a teacher who works with young children each day I knew this was not normal. We were referred to the MSK team where he was put under the care of Helen. She instantly made my son feel at ease and very quickly identified the problem. I could tell she knew what I was talking about and I felt confident that she would be able to help with the manner she displayed when listening and asking questions. It was extremely evident she knew what she was doing which instantly put me at ease. 

She gave him exercises for the muscles in his legs and the muscles in his feet. She also provided him with insoles due to him being diagnosed with flat feet. 

I honestly can’t believe the difference in just 2 months. My son has stopped complaining about his sore/tired legs. We had no issues getting him to wear his insoles and he is happy to swap them between his shoes as he himself said that they help his legs. As a parent you want your child to be happy and healthy and without a doubt this service has ensured this is the case for our son. He is back playing football, doing taekwon-do and being very active without the pain! 

Having worked with families who been assisted by the MSK Team in the past I can’t stress enough the importance of your service and I thank you for the valuable work that you do!
