"I have not heard from the practice manager"

I am a long term mental health patient, a War Veteran, whose condition is due to frontline service.

Aside from issues of larium poisoning and an arachnoid cyst, my referral to this clinic has not been treated as a veteran priority , let alone the NHS Charter.

I have been trying since June 2017 to see a psychiatrist.

Talking Therapies and a Clinical Psychiatrist are not an option and it is without their gift.

The practice manager has been going to call me since last year, and I have yet to have heard from them.

This is an unacceptable state of affairs and I will be reporting the practice to the relevant authorities under the instruction of the Veterans Minister, and to the CQC.

Good morning

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of one of our services. I am very sad to read that you are having such a difficult time and I would very much like to try and help you with these issues. As a Trust we do try to provide excellent services for all of our communities, and it is a shame that you feel that this has certainly not been your experience. The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, PALS, would like to look into this matter for you so if you call us on Tel: 01278 432022 or email us at pals@sompar.nhs.uk we will start making enquiries on your behalf as soon as possible.

With kindest regards
