"Going Beyond the Call of Duty"

My surgery has always been exceptional in the care and dedication it offers to patients and the community. But they went above and beyond their remit once again last week. This time their work needs praise of the highest level.

The amazing staff from Spital Surgery on Wednesday 19th January couldn't be bettered.

I needed emergency dental extraction, but also an INR within 24 hours of the extraction before my dentist would carry out said extraction. This I thought would cause a long delay of perhaps at least a day.

One of the surgery nurses was coincidentally in the dentist with her son on her day off. She promptly organised my INR test with the surgery receptionist, who in the absence of another nurse who was busy, carried out the test for me - yes the receptionist is trained in this field. I then had my extraction within the hour.

Now that is commitment, professionalism, dedication and caring with a personal touch. I feel embraced, loved and overwhelmed by such care.
