"Elderly grandmother waiting over 12 hours for..."

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

My grandma was admitted today and told at 11am that she would be transferred to Glenfield whilst I understand the shortage of beds and lack of staff and funding. Do you think it is acceptable that 14 hours later she is still waiting. Still waiting for treatment still waiting to be told what is wrong! Still waiting to be given any hot meals only a poxy sandwich which she is diabetic. This lack of knowledge and funding has put this hospital into crisis and it's not acceptable for a frail elderly lady to be left like she has
