All staff and especially the team involved with my daughter (Day care) were excellent and we cannot thank them enough.
My daughter first complained of pain in the early hours of Friday.
Her Dr gave her pain killers and suspected an inflamed gall bladder.
On Tuesday she returned to her Dr who did a blood test with results of inflammation levels of 153.
She arrived at the hospital and was seen very quickly then admitted on an IV drip antibiotics having found her a bed in the Day Care unit.
Wednesday she had a scan which showed as suspected inflamed gall bladder and 2cm stone and inflammation level had risen since coming into hospital.
The Drs suggested operating that evening and by 9pm she had had a Cholecystectomy was back in the ward, home Thursday.
This was outstanding.
From recognising the symptoms to treatment to the decision to operated.
Our very grateful thanks to all concerned.
