I had a lumber puncture done today and after feeling quite nervous the two nurses were fantastic one was very chatty and had a lovely calming voice and talked me through the whole process the procedure was nothing to fear and pain free thank you lovely ladies xx

It is always helpful for patients who may require a lumbar puncture to see feedback from patients who have experienced the procedure. We hope that this feedback will reassure patients that it is not a procedure to be afraid of.
