About: Royal Oldham Hospital / Maternity

(as a service user),

I can only leave a positive feedback about care I received at Oldham Royal Hospital. Day and night midwives looked after me and my new born baby girl, 24 hours with individual approach and hearing to our requests and needs, the ward was very clean, bed sheets were changed upon request, there was a good healthy menu through the day for breakfast/lunch/ dinner. I was struggling with breast feeding, Rosie- a specialist in  this field kindly helped me and put lots of effort to help me succeed in it and now leaving the hospital I feel so much confidence.   I will be able to do it and give the best start I can for my lovely baby girl.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience of our maternity service. We pride ourselves on providing care that is safe and compassionate so it is good to hear that this is the level care that you received. I will inform Rosie that you found her breastfeeding support instilled you with the confidence to succeed. In addition I will share your story with the midwives who supported you on the ward.
