"All staff had a lovely manner with our daughter"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Accident & Emergency (Emergency Care)

(as a service user),

We attended A&E with our 11 year old daughter after she injured her wrist at school.

All staff we met, from the receptionist through to the nurses and doctors were very friendly and helpful, and all had a lovely manner with our daughter. Both doctors we saw were very reassuring, speaking at all times directly to my daughter, advising her what was going to happen next. Her fracture was explained to her (also showing her the X Ray - which she was delighted with!).

The whole process was very efficient and we were in and out in under an hour.

Thank you very much A&E staff!

Hi Nic24, thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on your recent visit to A&E. It means a lot to the staff to hear when they get things right so they will be delighted to hear your positive comments. I will of course share your feedback with the A&E team as well as the wider team in RACH and hope that your daughter is well and truly on the mend.
