"cataract operation cancelled on 2/12/2017"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

I saw a nice optamologist on 15/9/17 for a cataract in both eyes. The eye doctor told me and I agreed that i would have long-distance lenses for my cataract as i need to see as far as possible for my job as security in a museum.

2 december 2017, Iwent for my cataract surgery on the letf eye, got the drops in the eyes and saw the surgeon who decided to cancel my operation because he thought i should not have long distance .I was shocked and drowsy and I did not react. I should have told him

I wanted long distance lens He decided to order a special lens and said Kings College staff must order it..4/01/2018 we phoned admission who kwnew nothing about a lens beeing ordered so they gave me a10/01/18 appointment with a nurse who knew nothing about my case I needed to speak to an eye doctor to ask if a surgeon can change the lens prescription but the nurse said I could not talk to a doctor I needed an appointment. I ask her to refer me to an eye todoctor so he/she can explain to me why that happen.

I need to see an eye doctor as soon as possible and I need my cataract operation as soon as possible my vision is getting worse and I cannot stay off sick for months I will lose my job

Please someone as Kings College help me
