About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as the patient),

I had both my baby boys at FVRH Larbert. I always wanted to tell what an amazing experience they both were. Both babies were delivered by c-section. My first was by an emergency c-section following a failed induction but my second was an elective section. Everything went smoothly and made the whole experience very relaxed. I cannot thank the midwifes, surgeons, anaesthetists, doctors, consultants, nurses and even the cleaners for making my experiences such positive ones.

I look back with such fond memories of both deliveries and my stay at the hospital which followed. My community midwife which I had both times round was Laura based at Denny Cross Medical Centre and she was amazing.  I can't thank her enough either.

What wonderful feedback for the team, thank you so much! It is great to hear that everyone who cared for you had such a positive impact on your experiences and have left you with treasured memories of your boys being born.

I will make sure your posting is shared with all areas but especially with Laura. She will be chuffed to bits to read your comments!

I hope your little boys are well and that you are enjoying all the fun, mischief and exciting times they will be bringing. The oldest one will no doubt be enjoying the snow today!

Once again many thanks for taking a break from what will be very busy times to praise our staff.

That would be great if you could pass on my thanks to all staff at FVRH maternity team and especially Laura. She was such a support to me throughout both pregnancies and she really is a wonderful midwife. She made both pregnancies a joy and I looked forward to each visit throughout. Both my boys are doing great and one was certainly enjoying the snow today. Thank you all once again. Kind regards.
