"Lenghty Wait"

About: Whiston Hospital / Accident and emergency

Arrived at 21.15pm with my son after being sent by Widnes WIC. On arrival A & E did not seem particularly busy.

Triaged around 22.00 then had bloods taken.

At 01.10 asked Receptionist how much longer the wait would likely be. Was advised that as we had only been there for 3 hours 55 mins wait would probably be another hour.

Called into another waiting room at 02.00 am, eventually seen the Dr at 02.45 and left the hospital at 03.00 with a £6 car park fee.
