(as a service user),

I had an operation a year ago.   I was expecting to be out after 3 or 4   days.   I ended up self discharging after nearly 4 weeks.   I think it would have been 6 weeks otherwise.   All I needed was a banister.   But I   got various reasons why not.   Had tried to get it beforehand, but was told to leave it till after.   Social worker no use.   Care not good.   In the end, left because I couldn't do without sleep any longer.
