"Tongue Tie surgery"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Although not a very serious or important operation, I recently had my tongue tie cut after years of it giving me problems.

After referral from my GP i had an appointment with a nurse to asses my situation to see if surgery was applicable. The nurse was very friendly and polite and agreed i needed the surgery.

When I went in for the actual surgery I had a lovely female surgeon and her assistant who were very kind and reassuring. I was dreading that operation and the surgeon took away all hesitation and the operation only took 15 minutes which was a huge surprise.

Since then my tongue has healed up nicely and does not give me any more problems.

Thank you so much to the team there.
