"Dr consultation"

Today I had an appointment with a Dr today re my cholesterol, I had initially seen a Dr in early December who had basically dismissed my concerns and told me to diet and exercise, I was told this without being asked if I was already doing this or anything about high cholesterol in my family. I made another appointment (4 week wait,not good) and today I couldn't have been treated any better by the Dr, I was put at ease and made to feel that my cholesterol would be addressed in a timely and professional manner, the Dr today was excellent.

On another note its becoming impossible to get appointments to see the Dr on the day, I see that people have taken to queuing up outside before surgery opens to get the days appointments thus anyone ringing up is wasting their time! May I suggest that those queuing be not given appointments on that day as it cant possibly be an emergency if you are well enough to queue up outside in the cold and rain.
