"Bury intergrated MSK service"

I have been suffering from chronic back pains for over 10 years now and to be honest, never really known exactly why or if anything could be done so as to stop, or drastically cut down, my medication. Once even being told I'd be on pain killers for the rest of my life. Each time I have seen doctors for either medication or injections they have never been the same and they all have their different views on what to do. I was referred again to this service and my appointment was on Monday 8th January 2018. The Advanced Practitioner I saw explained to me what she found in a way I understood, what's going to happen next and once I've been for another scan she would get me back in and go through her findings herself, in person. Even though this appointment was only an assessment, I came away from it still in pain but now feeling positive about the future.
