I Had elective surgery today at RD&E, My original Consultant was going to perform the procedure later in the spring 2018, the wait was due to my original consultants list being very long.
Whilst waiting for an surgery date my condition became troublesome, the consultant suggested going on one of his colleagues lists, this would mean I would be treated sooner.
To sum it up, it was a really positive experience, the Staff were all very caring and professional, infection control as expected was top priority, which is very reassuring. I was treated with dignity and respect by everyone, so big thanks to all the
Staff, thank you to my original consultant for giving me the opportunity to Be treated by another and his team
One final point , the people within the NHS are the backbone not only of the NHS but of the Country! Treat them with the dignity and respect they deserve, No more Nurses having to use Foodbanks!
"Superb caring staff"
