"Everything went well with my iron infusion"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Clinical haematology

(as the patient),

I attended for an iron infusion.

I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. Staff were friendly and constantly checked on me whilst infusion going and had time to sit and chat.

Everything went well and I was soon home, ready for action ie "cooking tea"!!

Thank you for posting this comment. I am pleased you were treated with respect and dignity at all times whilst at Tameside Hospital – this is what we aim to achieve for all our patients.

With every good wish for the future

Philip Dylak

Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed. Want to know more about what’s involved?

Please contact Philip Dylak, Director of Nursing at philip.dylak@tgh.nhs.uk
