"Treatment after a road traffic accident"

About: Raigmore Hospital / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

After being involved in an road accident last week I was brought to A+E by 2 fantastic SAS staff who I believe are called Martin and Andrew. They kept me calm and pretty relaxed given the situation which made an awful hour being stuck in the car then transported to A+E much easier for me.

I am a nurse myself which I think made their job slightly trickier as I was self diagnosing! On arrival to A+E all members of staff introduced themselves and were all so kind I felt a total fraud being there but was finally given the all clear to go home just a bit battered and bruised after several investigations.

I can only remember a few names Aimee the lovely nurse who kept me calm, Luke the consultant and another dr who I think was possibly called Tasha? Anyway fantastic staff who work tirelessly in the current climate and still provide top class care well done Raigmore A+E although I hope not to see you again 😂

Dear Donna

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on the care you received following your recent road accident. This must have been a very frightening experience and I hope you are recovering well from this. If you could send me an email at milne.weir@nhs.net with the date, approximate time and location of your road accident I will ensure the positive feedback you have given is passed on to the ambulance crew concerned. Thank you once again and best wishes.

Dear Donna0912

Sorry to hear about your accident. It was good of you to take time to feed-back. Then again as a nurse you will know how much staff appreciate feed-back. So it will be pleasure for me to share your posting with Dr Luke Regan and colleagues. Your summing up of

" Fantastic staff who work tirelessly in the current climate and still provide top class care well done Raigmore A+E" will be a joy to share. I hope you get some rest over the festive period but if you are working - thank-you.
