Moved to the area 4 years ago and we can honestly state that the surgery (old and new) has always been clean, generally friendly and staff helpful. The admin staff are like the Doctors always busy but are normally only too pleased to help.

The GP's are sometimes a little too quick for comfort but understandable with the number of patients always waiting to be seen.

We have been treated less favourably when we had to go private for operations so all in all a good surgery, good staff and a very good manager. Just need the Doctors to allocate more time and get the surgery to have alternative medicine/practice to offer e.g. Chiro's etc

Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback.

We offer standard 10 minute appointments with the GP's, if any patient feels they may need longer, or have more than one thing to discuss, they are able to request a double appointment.

We'd much rather deal with everything at once, rather than have to ask a patient to rebook because they are out of time.

There is lots of work going on at the moment in the area to bring more alternative medical practices into surgeries, but we are trying to do this as a federation (eg more GP practices working together) to provide this for ALL patients in North West Leicestershire, and not just for Long Lane Patients..... keep an eye on our website for new services that will be coming online in the next year.
