"Blood test for I.N.R"

About: Falkland House Surgery

I am almost 93 and fell breaking my shoulder earlier this year I am now unsteady on my feet and dread snow and ice.

I asked for a District Nurse to call at my home to take this test.Because the surgery do not do home visits for INR's apparently. I was asked if anybody could bring me and offered my wife of almost 85 so they made an appointment and said if

I could not get to surgery let them know as early as I can. I just am afraid of falling again if it is bad underfoot.

She had a heart attack last April and is a wonderful carer for me but I wasn't asking for the moon, the Doctor had arranged Nurses for months previously.

Unfortunately we differ about my warfarin dose because I think it is too high and get nose bleeds if I take the recommended dose. I have been taking warfarin for 21 yrs now so I do have feeling about it.

I wish that I could have made a happy review like the ones above but I speak from my own experience.
