"Improved service - drug and alcohol services Cambridge"

About: Inclusion Cambridge

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Don’t let people slip through the net like you did with me but it is OK now.  Keep in contact, don’t tell people drift, it is not nice.  You need to keep in the loop.  I'm fine now you all seem to be on the same page now, my key worker is better than before.

Hi

I'm sorry you feel this way, I'd be keen to know how you 'slipped through the net'. We really try our hardest to avoid anything like this happening so if you can let me a bit more, I'd like to look into it. You talk about keeping in contact and not letting people drift. Hopefully our clients don't feel like that and for some we are in touch too often so its a balancing act. We really try to encourage people to move on and away from our service at the right time and to help them build contacts away from us. Hopefully this is happening for you to cement your recovery!

Thanks for your comments.

Paul
