"Mastectomy and Reconstruction after Cancer..."

I was diagnosed with breast cancer October 17 and was quickly put through the system to have a single mastectomy and reconstruction in December.

I was quite apprehensive about the whole ordeal from start to finish.

Once I was admitted to Stock ward my whole experience started.

Wow, the staff are absolutely fantastic here, so caring and kind and also like to have a little giggle with you.

They're not patronising and nothing was too much trouble.

It's difficult to pick out one particular individual who made my stay such a happy one as they were all great, from Cleaners to Plastic Surgeons.

I actually laughed and had such a great time, I didn't want to leave.
