"Unimpressed"

A family member is in the 'care' of the Rheumatology Department and he would have follow up appointments every 6 months. He hasn't had an appointment for 14 months so far. 5 months ago he was diagnosed with a cancer that his consultant at Lincoln said his medication was making the cancer more aggressive and he should come off it. Seeking advice from his 'Rheumatology Specialist Nurse', they said he would need an appointment to see the consultant. He never got one. On subsequent 'phone calls, he again has been told he needs an appointment with his consultant, but he has not been sent one. He even filled in an on-line PALS form for help. It said he will be emailed in 2-5 days by the department he was under. He has not been e-mailed, that was 4 weeks ago.
