"totally disillusioned"

I am disgusted by my treatment recently at rbh. Pain control was almost non-existent, dignity certainly compromised and I have no outcome at all. The doctor on ward rounds couldn't even get my name right, despite being corrected numerous times. I was forced into the shower, even though I was in great pain, and made to wash my long hair with a miniscule bar of soap. It was worse after the shower than before. The ward sister was unbelievably rude on more than one occasion. In future, if possible I will get myself to Poole, and hope things are better there. I still have no resolution to the issues I had. I was treated with the sole goal of discharge as quickly as possible.

We are very sorry to hear that your experience of our hospital has left you feeling totally disillusioned.

This is very disappointing feedback which I have shared with the Sisters, Matron and Head of Nursing for this directorate to raise awareness of how this experience made you feel.

One of the ward Sisters has emailed back and asked me to share this with you:

“We are extremely sorry to hear this feedback. This is not the experience we would like any of our patients to have. We invite you to come to us and talk through your time here so that we can ensure this doesn’t happen again. However please be assured that your concerns have been raised and taken back to all members of our team.”
