"Family support"

About: Retford Central Children's Centre

(as a parent/guardian),

Very nervous at first about having a family support worker but once I got to know her she was like a friend she helped me and my family a lot and I am really grateful

It can be quite nerve wracking when acepting support in the first instance especially from someone you don't know. The Family Support Workers are extremely conscious of how families and children may feel when meeting them for the first time and make every effort to ensure it is as positive an experience as possible and it sounds as though this was definately the case for you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give us such complimnetry feedback
