"Still waiting for much follow-up appointment"

I was referred to a neurologist & had my first appointment in 2016. I was due a follow up July 2016 but was informed by the receptionist that the ‘waiting list for recalls is as long as it is for new patients’ and that I would be contacted when possible.

Meanwhile I’m still suffering from intense migraines, can’t trial any new medication for them or continue use of what the consultant had prescribed. Almost 18months on I have still not heard from the hospital!
